How to keep from being zombied

I am going to train you how to keep from being zombied.  Because this is all for nothing if you end up falling to the wrong side and yes…you can find yourself alive in Christ today and spiritually dead tomorrow…if not your salvation your ability to be used by God.

There are 4 ways to protect yourself.

1) Protect your brains (in all the zombie movies the zombies just shuffle around looking to eat your brains so they can sustain.)

What do you think about?

Pro 23:7 7 for he is the kind of man
who is always thinking about the cost.
“Eat and drink,” he says to you,
but his heart is not with you.

Phil 4:8

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

2) Don’t let your guard down (whew we made it…BAM! Hands through windows)

Always be ready, remember the enemy is relentless.

1 Thess 5:6

6. so then let us not sleep, as do the rest, but let us watch and be alert.

3) Don’t hang around graveyards (people always end up at graveyards in zombie movies…why?!?)

Don’t hang out where the spiritually dead thrive.  Parties, back seats, home alone etc…these temptations are where they thrive and will overwhelm you

Matthew 26:41

41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

4) Don’t do life alone (I’ll be right back means I’m about to be eaten in the movies)

Small groups are important.  Get in one.

Do these things, and you can find it easier to navigate this world full of the spiritually dead.
